My Holiday

Last summer, I had a wonderful holiday with my family. We went to the seaside, which is my favourite place to visit.

Our Journey and Stay

We travelled by train. The journey was long but very exciting. We stayed in a small hotel that was only a five-minute walk from the beach. Every morning, I could hear the sound of the waves.

Fun Activities

During the holiday, we did many fun things:

• Swimming: The water was clear and cool. I enjoyed swimming with my brother.
• Building Sandcastles: My sister and I built a huge, fancy sandcastle. We even used shells to decorate it.
• Trying Local Food: We ate delicious seafood at a restaurant by the harbour. The grilled fish was especially tasty!
• Watching the Sunset: In the evenings, we often sat on the sand and watched the beautiful orange sunset.

A Special Memory

One day, we took a boat trip to a small island. We saw colourful fish in the water and even a few dolphins in the distance! It felt like an adventure from a storybook.

Conclusion

It was a perfect holiday. I felt relaxed and happy. I made great memories with my family, and I hope we can go back again next year. Holidays are important because they help us rest and spend quality time with our loved ones.
